Information on Registration and Abstract Submission

 The completed downloadable Registration Form (scroll down) should be Emailed to the Treasurer, Prof N.S. Allen at: norman_allen@sky.com

 please also c.c. Dr Rob Old at: rob.old@awe.co.uk. 


Once registration form is received an invoice will be sent out with payment details.

Registration and payment

  1. All payments must be made in GBP (£).
  2. All bank transfers must specify the full name of the paying delegate and their affiliation and 
  3. must include ALL bank transfer charges.
  4.  Delegates are encouraged to register early and make the ‘Early Bird’ date of 10 March for the lower Fee .
  5. Once the delegate completes the registration form and invoice/payment details will be sent out by the Treasurer, Professor Norman Allen.
  6. Registered delegates with an accepted Oral presentation must make full payment of registration fee by the cut-off DEADLINE DATE of May 10th 2023. Later payments could lead to withdrawal of the paper from the program but may be put on the reservation list though would not be able to guarantee its inclusion in the programme. 
  7. Registration fee includes in total for 4 days, theatre, water, pen, notepad, mics, 6 coffee breaks, pasties, fruit juice, 3 three-course lunches and Gala Dinner (Wednesday evening) with wine. Venue for talks will be e-mailed to all participants before the conference aswell as the abstracts booklet. 
  8. Registration fee for accompanying persons includes refreshments, lunches and gala dinner.
  9. Post-doctoral fellows are required to pay the full registration fee.
  10. For all presenting delegates their accepted presentation can be withdrawn if advanced payment is not met.
  11. No refunds are issued during the conference for delegates wishing not to take the refreshments or meals as the Hotel will have already catered and charged for this service provision.

Abstract submission

Abstracts should be brief and no longer than one page A4 including figures in WORD FORMAT.

NB: Oral talks are allocated a total of 20 minutes. Please note Posters will not be available at this PDDG Conference, instead we invite  you to give a 10 minute oral presentation of the poster material.

Cancellation policy

If cancellation and refund request is made before April 30th in writing delegates are entitled to a full refund less £100 administration costs charge. After this date the full fee will be payable. In the unlikely event of cancellation of the PDDG meeting, the conference officers and organisers are not liable whatsoever for any conference expenses for related travel or other expenses incurred by delegates before the cancellation date. By registering for the conference the delegate accepts the conditions given including payment and cancellation policy.
